McKenna has really been into playing with her baby dolls here lately. She got quite a few dolls and accessories for her birthday and a few more dolls for Christmas. I walked into the living room the other morning and she was sitting on the couch with one of her babies. She does not really name her babies. Most of them are referred to by color. However, she has named this one baby doll. Her name is Ryleigh. She named her after her baby cousin. Every time we see my sister, McKenna tells her that she wants Baby Ryleigh to come live with us. Obviously that is not going to happen so McKenna has her own Baby Ryleigh now.On this morning, McKenna was feeding the baby a bottle. She very gently burped her when she was done and then put her down for a nap. I don't have any pictures of her putting the baby to bed because she is very adamant that the baby must be left alone during nap time so we don't wake her up.
I am absolutely loving this stage that McKenna is currently in. I love to see her little personality really coming out. She is a very caring, sympathetic, dramatic, active and smart little girl. I love that I get to be home with her to see all the cute little things she does during the day.
